He absolutely refuses to compromise on quality. Either it is a top grade Lee Von Erck original or its firewood. There are no seconds or B grade Von Erck's. The final step in the lengthy process is to assign and stamp each pipe with its’ individual Serial number and nomenclature.

Lee's carving on this pipe is nothing short of outstanding! Excellent crossgrain with a smooth bowl bottom and bottom and top of the shank. Amber colored stem. The pipe is big: 7 1/4 inches long with a 2 3/8 inch bowl and a 7/8 inch bore. Weight=84gm.(3oz.).

LEE von ERCK Curved Smooth Cutty

Magnificent grain on this light brown pipe. It's replete with crossgrain and birdseye, accented with an amber colored stem. The pipe is 6 1/4 inches long with a 2 1/4 inch bowl and a 15/16 inch bore. Weight=66gm.(2 1/4oz.).
