Aber es sind doch Klobenschnitzereien, oder? Da, wo keine Hörner drangebuchselt sind, wird es eher grobschlächtig.

Alter Falter, das kriegen wir auch noch hin... ...da sind keine Linien, da sind nur Brüche....

SAM LEARNED SmoothRounded Cutty

This rich reddish brown pipe is nicely grained Grecian briar. It features thick bowl walls for a cool smoke. The shank extension is made of American hickory. The pipe is 6 1/2 inches long with a 2 1/8 inch bowl and a 13/16 inch bore. Weight=76gm.(2 5/8oz.).

SAM LEARNED Freehand with Elkhorn

What a gorgeous pipe, as nice as any I've seen Sam make. Great tight straight grain with oodles of birdseye on the front of the bowl. Plateau bowl top and an elk horn extension into an army mount Hand carved rustication on the bowl bottom and shank. Very thick bowl walls. It is 8 1/2 inches long with a functional bowl height of 2 1/8 inches and a 15/16 inch bore. Weight=87gm.(3oz.).

SAM LEARNED Freehand Plateau Bottom "Sitter"

Awesome grain on this one--very tight straight grain on lightly stained briar. Plateau bottom and birdseye bowl top.Thick bowl walls. The pipe is 6 inches long with a 1 5/8 inch bowl and a 3/4 inch bore. Weight=83gm.(2 7/8oz.).

Sam Learned Smooth Hawkbill (Crescent) (2000)
