"Being a Dunhill collector for over 25 years, I had wanted to make pipes and to tap the creative side I hoped was within. With my mother being an artist, the genes were hopefully there. In 2006 I participated in the pipe making seminar at the Chicago show, was immediately hooked and began making pipes shortly following the show.

For the past year I have been fortunate to apprentice under the skilled hands of Todd Johnson and feel that I have flourished during that period.

There is a sincere appreciation for the process and a true passion in making quality pipes. Over the past couple of years I have worked diligently with form, symmetry and developing my own sandblasting technique. I feel that this form of expression is unique and being able to follow the growth rings, with my sandblasting technique, is fascinating.
