Peterson c. 1940 "Kapruf" Sandblasted Bulldog--London Made

So popular did Peterson pipes become that they opened a London factory. The British made pipes showed a quality of execution that was significantly higher than the Irish-made pieces, though less distinctive in cut. Here, for example, is a nice classic bulldog, showing a suprisingly good blast. It has a small Group 4 capacity, a hand cut "P" lip tapered diamond stem, and is in excellent condition in all regards. I believe the that "Kapruf" model was the direct analogue of the "Kapet" in the Irish rankings.
