Dunhill 1986 Tanshell Bent Billiard shape 4102

This is the shape into which the old Shape 56 bent billiard evolved in recent years. It's very similar to its classic predecessor, except that the bowl has become somewhat egg shaped and tapers toward the rim, and the shank is become stouter and tapers more quickly toward the bit.

This is a very nice example which has colored from careful smoking to a point where it resembles the early Tanshell finish. It has a surprisingly good and intricate blast, and an excellent handcut vulcanite taper bit.
