Eine absolute Seltenheit.

Zitat:
"Beginning at the turn of the last century, Barling developed a series of technical innovations in pipe making that soon became standard in the industry. This pipe, for example has a fossil amber bit with orific lip, not unsual in high grades of the era. But while every other maker attached such stems with fragile and finicky threaded bone tenons, Barling utilized a more practical and elegant solution. A vulcanite tenon was attached to the amber bit with an invisible threaded tube, thus eliminating the stress on the amber while still affording a snug, reliable fit.

The bowl is cut from very high quality Algerian plateaux, densely grained, and with rich color. It is a small pipe in the style of the era, but no less exquisitely cut and executed. Conditinon is first rate in all regards. "
