Dunhill Root Briar (104) (4) (R) with 14K 15mm AD Flush Barley Gold Band (1960)
Zitat: "It is known that customers of yesteryear would send their Dunhill pipes to Dunhill to have them banded either for cosmetic or repair reasons. It's not known if this pipe has the tiny cracks in the shank before or after it was banded, but it's been rock solid for over 40 years. Whenever I see these 14k banded pipes on a table at a pipe show, or in a tray on my desk, they jump at me just as they were meant to. Lovely. -Adam Davidson"
