"The Alfred Dunhill Pipe is one of a limited edition of 500 which celebrate Christmas 2002. It's a Group 5 Apple, Cumberland finish, fitted with a sterling silver hallmarked rim mount and band, decorated with the verse "Ten Pipers piping". This is the tenth of twelve verses taken from a traditional sixteenth century English Christmas Carol. The accompanying sterling silver tamper depicts ten Pipers set around a treble clef."
I find the Dunhill Christmas Pipe to be the most interesting of their series pipes. Sure, Einstein and others are great booked pieces, but the Christmas season is my favorite time of year, just behind fall in the mid west. This is something, if it were mine, that I would only smoke during that time of year, but that's just me. This might also be good during the hot days of summer to help conjure up winter thoughts. The famous "Christmas song" about chestnuts was written in the summer, actually, maybe for the same reason. No chestnuts roasting here. A favorite tobacco smoldering may substitute just fine.
