The calculator can be used in three different ways:
To find the time in another city when the millennium hour is reached in your own time zone, i.e. when the millennium takes place in Moscow, what time is it in San Francisco? To find when other cities are in the millennium hour relative to your own local time zone, i.e. when it is 09:00 in London, which city will be celebrating the millennium hour? To compare the local times of cities in different time zone, i.e. when it is 07:00 in New York, what is the time in Moscow? Method
(i) Align the Red millennium dot below the city of your time zone, i.e. Red dot below “Moscow” (ii) Read the hour of day in the other cities directly below on the lower time ring, i.e. read time below “San Francisco” (which is 13:00) (i) Align your local time on the lower time ring with your corresponding city, i.e. align “London” with 09:00 on the time ring. (ii) Read the city which is in the millennium hour immediately above the Red dot, i.e. Anchorage. (i) Align the first city with its actual local time, i.e. “New York” above 07:00. (ii) Read the time below the second city on the time ring, i.e. 15:00 below “Moscow”
