Es gibt aber einige Macher, die sich an diesem "Wax" Stile versuchen.

Live und in Farbe hab ich das auch noch nicht in der hand gehabt,

"Paul Hubbert was born in Iceland, hence the Scandinavia name and grew up in mid-west America, Indiana. Larryson is his middle name. Based in the old Icelandic naming tradition - Larry was his fathers name & he is his son, hence Larryson. Had Paul been born a girl, following the same tradition, it would be Larrydottir. In August 2002 he married a Cornish girl and immigrated to Cornwall England where he now lives in the highest village in Cornwall, on Bodmin Moor in South West England- that was once a Gaelic speaking region.

There he bought a cottage & piggery, built in 1820, and after 18 months hard labour had rebuilt the piggery into a custom designed pipe workshop. Paul has traveled to many European pipe shows & pipe makers gatherings and has learned much from the European pipe making community.

He uses the highest grade briar from ItaL & top quality German Ebonite for his hand cut stems. Some are subtlety colored Ebonite with faint patterns. Paul adorns some of his pipes with silver and some with bone. The workmanship is meticulous on every level from the drilling, always spot on, to the totalL smooth fitting adornments to perfectL cut stems no thicker than 4.65 mm, and a small slim button. Every Larryson pipe is totalL hand made by Paul Hubbert in England.

I would describe Paul's style, as fittingL, contemporary Anglo-American with a strong Scandinavian influence. That befits his heritage."
